Tara Lynn Masih's debut novel, MY REAL NAME IS HANNA, won multiple book awards including The Julia Ward Howe Award for Young Readers, a Florida Book Award gold medal, a Foreword Book of the Year Award gold medal for historical fiction, and was honored as a Finalist in the National Jewish Book Awards. It was translated into Slovak and is forthcoming in Poland. Her anthologies include The Rose Metal Press Field Guide to Writing Flash Fiction and The Chalk Circle: Intercultural Prizewinning Essays. Her fiction publications include Where the Dog Star Never Glows: Stories and she founded the Intercultural Essay Prize and The Best Small Fictions series. Masih received a finalist fiction grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, an Inspirational Woman in Literature Award from AITL Media, and several national book awards including an IBPA Benjamin Franklin Award. She lives in St. Augustine, Florida.
